Twilight hit theaters today. I'm still waiting for news stories that tells me how it did in the box office... I'm DYING to know the money it made, but I suppose I'll have to wait until the end of the weekend.
So, since I won't be seeing the movie until Tuesday evening, I'm going cold turkey on Twilight. I am not letting myself read articles online or go to any of my blogs or fansites that I usually peruse. I don't want anyone's opinion smearing my own before I even see the movie.
That brings us to today. Day one of cold turkey.
So far, not so good...
I mean, i'm already permitting myself to watch Rob Pattinson appear on Ellen today. I always watch Ellen, but today is special. Should I watch it and risk having a review ruin my optimism?
The decision was almost too easy to make. So, in about ten minutes, I'll be downstairs staring at my TV. Sigh.
Speaking of sighs, last night was full of 'em. Being the pathetic creature that I am, I sat there and watched the countdown widget on SM's website.
I freaking took screenshots. How sad.
Anyway... my DVD of Wall-E arrived in the mail yesterday; I'm hoping that proves to be a reasonable distraction from all things Twilight.
I highly doubt it.
